The book helped me understand the story of her husband Jim Elliot and their journey with the Auca Indians. I was always under the assumption that Jim and the other four men just landed by the Auca's territory and were killed. Their story is so much deeper, one of love for these lost Indians and a passion to help them come to know God.I also started the book My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult and so far, I am very intrigued! I am going to try out a book club this coming month and this is the chosen book.
Back to our trip! Since we've been here we've managed to see grandparents, attend a family wedding, sleep in, have all the Blomgren's together (this hasn't happened in almost two years and I'm talking just the immediate family!), have all three "granddogs" meet/play/fight and eat some good home cooked meals. We have had a wonderful time and are planning on continuing that tonight at the Cubs game!!

Did Jordin keep you company on the journey? I can't believe you don't like road trips. They're awesome. :) Miss ya! See you soon.
Awesome! I'm glad you're having a good time with the Blomgrens :) I'm almost done with My Sister's Keeper!
