Norwex (A Giveaway!)

I've been meaning to tell you all about Norwex, an amazing company and product.  I am a proud Norwex consultant and haven't even told my blog friends!  I started selling Norwex about 6 months ago and have now been using the products in my home for nearly 3 years.  I am a very frugal person and like to save money so that is what originally got me interested in it and now I'm totally sold!

If you haven't heard of Norwex let me give you a brief description so you are up to date on why I love it so much!

The main product and how Norwex was born is through their amazing silver embedded microfiber cloth.  The microfiber is a very high quality, the threads they use are the size of a human hair split between 100 & 200 times. Because it’s such a fine thread it is able to absorb more dust and bacteria and dirt etc.!  The silver embedded in the cloth actually suffocates bacteria therefore killing it up to 99.99% within 24 hours!!  This has been tested against SARS, Salmonella, E. Coli, Streptococcus (faecalis and pyogenes) and a few others that I've never heard of!
When cleaning with Norwex microfiber cloths you only want to use water.  Using any sort of soap or chemical actually puts a barrier between the bacteria and the silver therefore not allowing it to kill the bacteria as easily.  Using only water to clean has many benefits.  Cleaning with Norwex is the easiest thing you can do for yourself and it will save you literally hundreds of dollars.

The great thing about all this is in the end it saves you lots of money (no more paper towels, no more windex, bleach, or other floor cleaners etc.), is so simple and still kills bacteria while keeping the home environment safe for you!  I use these cloths for everything in my house including my whole bathroom, the kitchen, the windows & mirrors, my face (to remove make up and wash my face) and on Norah!  The company has many great products but that is the basic antibac cloth.  There are different weaves of the basic cloth that you can use for mirrors/windows and face and body.

A few of the main products:
Enviro Cloth (basic cloth) comes in four colors for $14.50 each
Basic Antibac Package (one enviro cloth & one window cloth) $28.99
Antibac Body Pack (three 12X12 cloths, comes in two color scheme choices) $16.99
Baby Body Pack (three 8X8 cloths in pastel only) $14.99 *This is what we use on our face and YES it does remove makeup!

It’s great to feel like we are taking better care of Norah by not having chemicals in our home or on our floors or anywhere near our little babe.
Here is my old bathroom, yes I know SICK.  But, just keeping it real.  I cleaned one side (right) with the Norwex antibac cloth with only water!  I was able to remove all the buildup and kept my tub much cleaner after this :) *Click on the image to enlarge*
This is an example of a friends hallway carpet.  She had a Norwex party and we took a cloth with only water and rubbed for about two minutes to get this result!  I just wanted to demonstrate how easy dirt can be absorbed into the cloths.

Kel, I would normally just overlook stuff like this because I'm both super skeptical and paranoid about bacteria-- BUT, after seeing those pictures and hearing you and Erika talk about it, I'd really like to try these out! I'll send you an email later! Thanks for posting!

Two things:
1. I love my Norwex cloth. I went around the house wiping down walls, doors, molding, etc. It cleaned it all! So satisfying. :)

2. Thanks for linking Passionate Homemaking! I haven't seen that blog before, but just got lost in it. What a great resource!

Great post Kel! Although I enjoy all of your posts. :) Here is what I would like to say about my Norwex experience!
When I first used the Enviro Cloth with the window cloth on our mirrors, I could not believe the streak-free shine! There were no hazy areas, streaks, or smudges... which I always tended to find using window/mirrow cleaners with paper towels. Plus, it is so nice not to have to buy mirror cleaner product all of the time!
I was also impressed with the body cloths. I tend to wear a decent amount of make-up each day (mascara/eyeliner in particular), and it all comes off with the cloth! I don't have to be rough on my skin when trying to clean my face/eye area with the cloth either. The cloth even seems to exfoliate a bit!
Thanks for sharing Norwex with me girl.

I love the smell of Pine Sol (weird, I know...) But, I have been told that this "miracle cloth" will trump the cleaning power of pine sol....My current bottle is running low and I am willing to take a risk to see what will happen if I change over!

The shower pictures really are getting me hooked! How long did it take to "scrub" with the norwex cloth?

Hmmmm. I am slightly skeptical that a cloth can do wonders like that, but if it's really true I'm totally in. What could be better than saving lots of money on endless cleaning supplies? What product would I give up first if I won? I have a whole slew of them under my sink. Windex, comet, 409??

And I also wonder how long and hard you had to scrub with that cloth in the shower? Was the picture doctored ;)?

I love Norwex! One time I was with some friends and we accidently broke a pen (long story) and ink spilled onto my friend's nice wood kitchen table. Another friend that was there took out her little Norwex antibac cloth, put some water on the cloth and started rubbing the table. Within minutes the ink came out of the table. I have many stories similar to this including, Norwex taking spaghetti out of the carpet or stains off of walls. I am always amazed at how well Norwex is able to pick up dirt or stains! I use it everyday!

I am a huge fan of Norwex, thanks to you, Kelly! (I also love PassionateHomaking)
I am loving the window cloth for mirrors and all my windows. I used to hate washing windows and now I just walk around with my 2 year old holding the spray bottle (filled with water) and I'm done in no time!
The enviro cloths also are so nice. I am so confident now in my ability to get rid of stains. It's like magic!

I'm a little skeptical, but if your bathtub pictures are amazing. We rent so our tub is pretty gross and I would love some help with it. I've heard Melissa B talk about her cloth so I would love to try it.

I've got a few Norwex rags... I'm a little bit 'unsure' that they actually kill all the bacteria, however, I do know that they get all that slime and grease off the stove and microwave that no rag or soap has ever been able to conquer!

Sincerely,
Liza Schoolmeesters :)

I love all of my Norwex products. My favorite ones are the dish cloths for your sink and the mop. it might be initially more than you would normally spend for the mop but the quality and longevity of the product will be worth it. The dusting mit also saves so much time and is the best one I have ever used. Thanks for introducing us to these great products. Love, Mom B.

We love our Norwex cloths too! It is fun for the kids to help cleaning too, and it works wonders, and greatly helps our budget. I am in need of another one though. . . good luck with your business!

Oh yay! I'm so excited! I was just telling Travis earlier this week that I wanted to start finding some more friendly cleaners...especially for cleaning my oven!!! Oh that is the worst, I feel like I am taking years off my life every time I use it. I need to ask you some more questions about this so I know how many to get from you. I'll try to catch you Sunday!
